Paving was completed on June 9, and the “bicycle loop detector” was installed at the traffic light. The loop detector is a sensor that picks up th presence of a bicycle so the traffic light knows someone is waiting for the light to change to green. It will be marked with a bike stencil to show riders where to wait for the light.
Final raising of utility covers, line striping, and signage installation coming soon.
